Our information packet gives you lots of helpful information about becoming a franchisee. You’ll learn all of the Sweet & Sassy® details, from how we started to our strategy to why we have more than double the revenue of our competitors to floor plans, marketing, start-up costs, training, and support.
2. Tell Us about You: Complete Your Franchise Application
The franchise application gives us an idea of both your experience and your financials. While we don’t have any hard and fast rules for approval, most of our applicants who qualify will have: a love for kids, strong work ethic, general management and organizational skills, the ability to develop teams, $75,000 in liquid capital, and a net worth of $350,000. The franchise application is free and does not bind you to any decision.
3. Get Stage 1 Approval: Territory & Application Review
One of our team members will review your application and territory request. If your requested territory isn’t available, we’ll suggest other possibilities that may work for you. We will also perform a demographics analysis at this time to help us understand how many of our “target market customers” live in your territory.
4. Let’s Talk!: Our Introduction Call
After completing your Franchise Application, one of our franchise executives will get in touch with you to discuss the role our brand plays in the kids’ spa, salon, and spa industry. We will also provide details on the Sweet & Sassy® franchise evaluation process and answer any questions you may have.
5. Learn More: Get Our FDD (Franchise Disclosure Document)
After speaking with one of our franchise executives, you will receive our Sweet & Sassy® FDD (Franchise Disclosure Document). This will provide more information about us, the franchise opportunity we are offering, and the franchisee-franchisor relationship. The FDD will also let you know the details of how much it will cost to open your Sweet & Sassy® store as well as how much revenue other stores generate.
6. See If We’re a Fit: Scheduling Calls to Learn Even More
While you review our FDD, your franchise executive will schedule agenda-specific calls to further discuss the details of owning a Sweet & Sassy®. Our goal is to ensure we are the right fit for you and you are the right fit for us. We’ll go over things like your future goals, store role, core values, strengths, experience, and education. Additional topics your Sweet & Sassy® franchise executive will discuss with you include: • Real estate selection • Financing options • Design and construction • Franchisee training • Franchisee support • Ongoing operational support • Operations • Products • Marketing
7. Visit Us for a Sweet & Sassy® Discovery Day
We’ll invite you to Fort Worth, Texas to attend a Discovery Day. On our Discovery Day, you will visit Sweet & Sassy® Corporate Headquarters and learn more about us, visit one of our stores, and meet both the executives and some of the key team members that will support you as a franchisee. This step should solidify your decision that our kids’ spa, salon, and party franchise is right for you. If both you and our franchise team have a great experience at Discovery Day, we will approve you as our newest franchise owner and give you the pen to sign the franchise agreement.
8. Start Building Store Community
At this point, you have been approved by our franchise leadership team, submitted all required documents and other materials, and officially welcomed to the Sweet & Sassy® family. Not only are you now a valued part of our franchise community, but you are also taking on a big role in the community you’ll be serving. Our franchise owners become involved in community events, schools, and charities. We’ll help you start creating plans regarding how to grow your store’s involvement in your community.
9. Learn All Things Sweet & Sassy®: Training to Run Your Store
As your celebration begins to wind down, we will guide you through the franchise development process. We will introduce you to members of our team who can assist you with virtually everything, from securing financing and a location to franchisee training to store construction to hiring your team.
10. Cut the Boa, it’s Opening Day!
It’s the moment you’ve been waiting for! All of your hard work you and your support team have contributed up to this point have paid off! At last, you are the proud owner of a Sweet & Sassy® store.
